Critical Care Unit

Lexington Medical Center patients have access to nationally renowned specialists and cutting-edge therapies, all without leaving Lexington, through services such as the Critical Care Unit.

The Critical Care Unit (CCU) is equipped to monitor and trend heart rhythms and other hemodynamic pressures. Technology can sometimes be overwhelming to patients and family members. The nurses are always willing to offer explanations and assistance in order to promote understanding and appreciation of the technology available for total recovery of our patients.
